Our sweet boy is here! Garrett and I are beyond in love with this little boy and are so glad he had a safe arrival. Labor was very quick, but uneventful for Asher and we are so thankful to all of you that have kept him in your prayers
Tomorrow, Wednesday July 22nd was Asher‘s due date, but it will now be remembered as the day Asher had his first open heart surgery. He has done very well over the last 5 days in the NICU, but it is time to start making his little heart work better for his body. We ask you to please keep Asher, his nurses, cardiologists and heart surgeons in your thoughts and prayers. It will be a long day for them all and we want as many prayers heard for them as possible.
The next few days will be long, emotional and unpredictable for myself and Garrett. I will try my best to do another update on the blog when I get a moment, but keep an eye on Asher’s Instagram for any quick updates. You can access it through the photos section below.
